Issi Bulloch

Issi is a Mama-Maker. Mother of twin 3 yrs old boys and a little girl who has just started school, life is a constant juggle. Issi is a jeweller - silversmith come artist - who casts natural found pieces of Mother Nature and turns them into unique items of Jewellery. From bees, dragonflies and butterflies found dead in my polytunnel to sycamores, acorns and shells found on local woodland walks and adventures to the beach. Every piece has a story of how it was collected and then transformed. All aspects of her work are ethically sourced, recyclable and made locally to her in Frome. Issi also teaches a variety of different jewellery casting techniques used within her practice. From sand casting & investment casting to wax carving and botanical/organic casting. It’s all about teaching and sharing her own creative practice, which is why she’s always excited to be able to bring my teaching skills to a field, especially a festival.
